Challenges

Saturday, 12:00

Get your setup ready meanwhile

Data

Three sources to build on: the partner data, open data and the basic kit of the buildbar_ setup.

TTF Data Space by nexyo

The TTF Data Space by nexyo provides data for the challenges. Its onboarding runs separately from the buildbar_ setup: register in the portal for the challenge you work on.

With the setup, your access goes into your team's n8n project as a credential. Your coding agent knows the way.

Open data

Basic kit of the buildbar_ setup

  • one.intelligence by destination.one: n8n at n8n.oi.destination.one with a separate project per team, plus the one.intelligence AI models
  • DataForSEO (data from Google search and Google Maps) and Apify (web scraping) through shared credentials in n8n
  • Data Tables in n8n for your own data

The buildbar_ setup

Optional, for every team that wants it. It takes the setup work off your hands, so you can start building right after team building.

What you get

  • A repo for your team, made from a template with rules and skills for n8n, data and publishing, plus a Next.js starter
  • Your team's own n8n project on one.intelligence for your workflows
  • A connection for your coding agent: the repo brings the MCP setup along
  • Publishing from the chat: your app goes live at your-team.ttf.buildbar.at

What you need

  • A laptop
  • A GitHub account for everyone who wants to work in the repo (free at github.com/signup (opens in a new tab))
  • Claude Pro or Max, or ChatGPT Plus or Pro for Codex
  • For local work: Git and Node.js 20 or newer

How to start

  1. One of you creates the team at hub.ttf.buildbar.at/new (opens in a new tab): event code (shown on site), team name, then sign in with GitHub.
  2. Your teammates join with the team link from your team page, up to six GitHub accounts per team.
  3. Open your repo in Claude Code in the browser, Claude Desktop, VS Code or VSCodium, or Codex. Your team page has a start button and the steps for each tool.

Claude Code in the browser: set the network access of your environment to “Full” before the first message. Your team page shows how.

Works with Claude Code and Codex. Other MCP clients such as OpenCode can connect too.

For coding agents: the same facts as Markdown at buildbar.at/ttf-2026/claude.md

Fair play

  • No keys in apps

API keys, tokens and passwords stay in n8n credentials. Your app only calls your webhooks.

  • Respect data licences

Use data the way its licence allows and name your sources. Partner data from the Data Space comes with its own terms.

  • Publish by Sunday 12:00

One hour before the submission at 13:00. Shortly before the deadline, builds queue up.

  • Your own setup is welcome

The buildbar_ setup is an offer, not a requirement. Your own tools, accounts and hosting are just as welcome.
